How to join the bio-power community
Membership of bio-power is open to anyone who supports our aims. The Bio-power Trade Association is just open to commercial producers of the range of bio-power fuels. We also recognise the support and needs of our customers and suppliers. Anyone signing the charter as an expression of commitment to our shared aims can join Bio-power as a supporting member, and can receive our circulars and mailings, and can also attend our AGM. Non commercial producers can also be elected to join or serve on any committee including the management committee, but they do not have any right to do so, unlike commercially registered companies within the bio-power group who all serve as directors as part of the co-operative. Any individual can join us for free as a supporter or as a subscribing member by sending us a membership fee of £25.00. Both categories of membership will receive the monthly Bio-power News, but only subscribing members will be allowed to vote at the AGM. Anyone who uses our fuel is encouraged to display one of our stickers, which advertises and promotes the use of bio-power fuels. These stickers can be downloaded from this site, printed on an A4 sheet of paper, cut in half and stuck to the rear or side windows of your vehicle.
Help promote the use of our fuels by telling your friends, and if necessary form a buyers collective so that we can deliver fuel for a number of families to use.
Our sales leaflets can be downloaded from this site and again printed from your word processor. Please note however that the image is copyright and must not be edited or altered.
Help us lobby for a reduction or removal of all taxation on the use of non-fossil fuels (as in Germany, Italy and Poland). Download and edit this letter or better still re-write it in your own words, and send it to your local MP. and also the ministers listed on the page. If you get a reply, then please send us a copy.
