Some people have complained that the Ex103 and HO930  Customs and Excise forms cannot be printed or downloaded.  The technique is simple....

1. Download and save the files to your desktop, then go off line.  
2. Click on the files and they should open into whatever programme you use to edit .jpg files (such as iPhoto Plus).  
3. You should then press Control + A to select the whole image and Control + C to copy the image to memory.
4. Open Microsoft 'Paint' from Accessories, it will show a blank page.
5. Press Control + V and the image will appear in the bit map picture editor.  
6. Alter the image to suit your own needs correcting the address and other details where at present my name appears.  
7. Use Control + A and Control + C to store the corrected image in memory again.  
8. Open your Word processor like Microsoft Word 6 and press Control + V and the image will appear on a new page.  
9. Stretch the margins as necessary to fit a piece of paper nicely and then save the file at a suitable location as a Word .doc.  This document is then easy to reload and print when ever you need a Customs return.

Ex 103 Excise Entry : Private Trader    This is the form you use to register as a producer of alternative fuels.

HO930 front  and  HO930 reverse  These are simple bit maps of the standard monthly return form which is sent to registered producers of alternative fuels.   Use this form for your monthly return of tax due.  Make sure you print the information on the reverse.

THE HYDROCARBON OIL DUTIES ACT 1979; section 1   This part of the act defines what fuels fall within taxation as hydrocarbons.
